The membership of BRO shall be open to Bumiputra retailers who are involved in or connected to the retail industry supply chain upon invitation by the Executive Council to become members of BRO.

All membership applications shall be submitted to the Executive Council for approval

• Ordinary Member
• Associate Member
• Affiliate Member

• Upon invitation, any Bumiputra Retailer may apply for Ordinary Membership of BRO. Such Ordinary Member shall have voting rights and shall be eligible for election as an office bearer in the Executive Council.

  A member will be entitled to represent itself by not more than two (2) representatives nominated by the member at any one time (only one of whom shall be entitled to voting rights and shall be eligible for election as an office bearer in the Executive Council).

• Upon invitation, any Bumiputra Retailer may apply for Associate Membership of BRO. Such Associate Member shall have no voting rights and shall not be eligible for election as an office bearer in the Executive Council.

  A member will be entitled to represent itself by not more than two (2) representatives nominated by the member at any one time (none of whom shall be entitled to voting rights nor eligible for election as an office bearer in the Executive Council).

• Upon invitation, any Bumiputra Organization may apply for Affiliate Membership of BRO. Such Affiliate Member shall have no voting rights and shall not be eligible for election as an office bearer in the Executive Council. No Admission Fee and Subscription Fee will be imposed on an Affiliate Member.
